Cheltenham Literature Festival

Hockney Class had a wonderful time at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, where they got to meet famous author Helen Rutter.

The children also managed to get their book signed by Helen.

Well done to Sophie and Gracie-Mae, who introduced the author to a packed out audience beautifully. A wonderful moment!

Oral Hygiene

The children had a special visit from Chloe (dental nurse) and Jordan (Hygienist) who talked to the children about the importance of keeping their teeth healthy.

They mentioned the importance of cleaning their teeth regularly and also explored food and drink that was good and bad for their teeth.

Storytellers Assembly

Every two weeks, the children take part in a Storytellers Assembly, with Liz, who is part of All Saints church in Blakeney.

The children get to act out religious stories and learn readings from the bible.

Phoebe commented "I really enjoy Stortellers Assembly, it is so peaceful!

Cross Country

On 4th October, 21 of the children in Hockney Class, took part in a Cross Country competition at Five Acres High School.

The children did really well, showing great grit and determination. We also had the highest number of entries for the race.

Well done to Harry and Juliette for finishing highest boy and girl for Pillowell! Well done all!
